Ballard County Adult Education now is offering GED classes at the Barlow City Library on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. The library is located in the City Hall Annex (old City Hall), behind the City Hall building at 139 N. Fourth St., Barlow.

Ballard County Middle School names Bodell interim counselor
Ballard County Middle School has named Ashley Bodell as its interim school counselor for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year. Bodell had been serving as a special education teacher at BCMS. Long-time counselor Kim Grogan retired at the end of October.

BCMS all-Distinguished students recognized at Oct. 17 Board of Education meeting
Ballard County Middle School students who earned Distinguished scores in every administered area of the May 2016 K-PREP assessments were recognized at the Ballard Board of Education’s Oct. 17 regular meeting.  
Farm Bureau's Puckett sponsors notebooks for BCMS leadership programKentucky Farm Bureau agent Justin Puckett is shown here with the first local sponsorship to the Leader in Me program at Ballard County Middle School.
