9. Feeding program will begin Tuesday with home deliveries of breakfast, lunch, and snack items. (See details in another post.) (2:50 p.m.)
6. KHSAA has declared an emergency dead period for all sports, beginning today and extending at least through April 12. There will be no games/matches/meets, and no practices. (See details in another post.) (10:47 a.m.)
4. School nurses will be available to see school-aged children beginning at 8 a.m. Monday (March 16). Parents/guardians MUST call ahead to speak to a nurse first, and make an appointment - 270-665-8400, ext. 2020. (10:10 a.m.)
3. BCMS and BMHS also will allow students to check out up to 3 library books during their 10 a.m.-2 p.m. opening today. (9:55 a.m.)2. Food service personnel are meeting this morning to work out details of a feeding program. We will have information before/by close of business today on times, locations, deliveries, etc. (9:25 a.m.)
1. Ballard County Elementary, Middle and Ballard Memorial High schools will allow students and parents to come by between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today (Friday) to retrieve belongings and materials they may need. (8:30 a.m.)
