Ballard County Schools has named
Jennifer Head as its new district finance officer. She will replace current DFO
Kim Bailey, who will retire June 30 after 37 years in the district.
Head has served as the payroll and benefits coordinator at Livingston County Schools for the last two years. She holds a bachelor's degree in business, with marketing as an area of emphasis, and is working on her master's degree in business administration, all from Murray State University.
“We were pleased to find someone with the real-world experience Jennifer has had in the finance department in Livingston County,” said Ballard Superintendent Dr. Casey Allen. “Her familiarity with the state-required records and account system will give her a head-start on all of the complex accounting a school district requires.”
Head grew up in Livingston County, and is a graduate of Livingston County High School. “I am excited to be a part of Ballard County Schools,” she said.
She is a member of Hampton United
Methodist Church, and enjoys concerts, University of Kentucky ballgames, and
St. Louis Cardinal baseball.
