Family Focus, Teen Focus hold annual Christmas food drive

Family Focus and Teen Focus have begun their annual Christmas food drive; it will continue until the last day of classes on Dec. 16. The Wickliffe Masonic Lodge also works on this project, purchasing groceries to go along with the food that is collected.

Each grade has a suggested food item so that there will be a good variety. Students and staff members are encouraged to donate. Food may sent to school with your student.

Food baskets will be given out on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 8-10 a.m. at the BMHS/BCMS cafeteria.

Suggested non-perishable food item for each grade:

• Preschool – Cereal or oatmeal
• Kindergarten – Stuffing mix
• 1^st Grade – Crackers
• 2^nd Grade – Instant mashed potatoes
• 3^rd Grade – Cake or brownie mix
• 4^th Grade – Mac and cheese
• 5^th Grade – Pudding
• 6^th Grade – Fruit cocktail
• 7^th Grade – Peanut butter
• 8^th Grade – Corn
• 9^th Grade – Green beans
• 10^th Grade – Soup or broth
• 11^th Grade – Muffin mix
• 12^th Grade – Dried beans
